Building on the success of Imagineear’s work in healthcare, a new position has been created to support the increasing demand for app development and digital innovation in the sector, headed up by Julia Laflin.
Julia joined Imagineear 5 years ago, as part of the creative team working on multimedia tours for cultural attractions, and has since been instrumental in developing content for medical apps aimed at clinicians and patients, partnering with major healthcare organisations and charities such as the NHS and Antony Nolan. Most notably, Julia led the development of the highly successful Mum & Baby app, a digital resource designed to offer new mothers and their partners NHS clinically-approved advice and information on all aspects of pregnancy and early parenthood.
“Healthcare is a very exciting and dynamic environment to work in. These are exciting times for the NHS and Imagineear has the opportunity to contribute significantly to their digital expansion with innovative solutions for clinicians and patients alike, as well as helping to improve efficiency.”
Julia Laflin, Head of Healthcare
“The demand for more sophisticated apps and digital innovation from the NHS, health charities and leading health bodies is increasing rapidly and has become a prominent part of Imagineear’s business following the successful development and delivery of several apps already for the sector. The need for a more robust team structure to respond to the demand was evident and with Julia’s high calibre experience and expertise in the field we look forward to continued growth and success with our work in Healthcare.”
Clare Cooper-Hammond, Imagineear’s MD for UK and Ireland
Prior to working for Imagineear, Julia’s background is in multi-national industry as well as in top PR and marketing agencies managing and directing new business generation and running client teams. In her spare time Julia enjoys going to museums and galleries, cinema and theatre and well as reading, writing and playing croquet.
