Imagineear Health continues innovative development of My Transplant Tracker app

Building on the original version of the My Transplant Tracker app launched in 2018 for blood cancer charity, Anthony Nolan, which helps support patient recovery following stem cell transplants, Imagineear Health have developed and launched a new release, version 2, to include new useful functions and additional content for patients and clinicians. Following extensive research by Imagineear Health gathered during face-to-face patients’ days where new potential app features were presented to recovery patients to choose and prioritise. Version 2’s features were developed in response to this feedback and include new tracking options including My Mood, My Diary and medications tracking with reminders alongside appointments and medical readings tracking. Patients can now track achievable personal recovery milestones, which may be as simple as going for a short walk or eating a healthy meal each day.

The app’s content which is full of reliable and helpful information, curated by Anthony Nolan, on all aspects of body, mind and life as well as patient services, has now been extended further. Users can now find expansive sections on preparing for your stem cell transplant, what happens during the transplant process as well as a glossary of medical and transplant terms used. patients can be supported on their post-transplant journey towards better physical and emotional well-being.

“The app helps patients take control of their recovery”, said Julia Laflin, Head of Healthcare at Imagineear Health. “For example, our suggested My Diary feature was welcomed by patients as a way to record their progress and provide self-encouragement by enabling them to see how far they had come on the road to recovery. It has been wonderful to work with Anthony Nolan to develop a digital tool that supports patients towards better physical and emotional well-being.”

This pin-protected app is free and available in iOS and Android versions from the App Store and GooglePlay.
