Multi-award-winning digital media company Imagineear Ltd, which provides multimedia solutions for visitor attractions and the cultural sector, is delighted to announce the creation of Imagineear Health, a new division of its business dedicated to healthcare apps and digital services. Imagineear Health is born out of a decade of highly successful and award-winning work in digital health, and the division will invest further in its growing range of digital products and services. It will design, build and manage apps and related digital tools in partnership with the NHS and other healthcare providers, for use by patients and clinicians.
The demand for apps and digital products in the healthcare sector is growing rapidly as health trends towards personalisation and prevention are accelerated by the current ‘crisis of access’. Organisations and care providers are looking for innovative ways to engage and inform their patients to help them manage their own health. Making investments in key information and digital tools for clinicians to use in a variety of settings also helps to ease pressures on staff and maximise efficiencies. Imagineear Health delivers robust and reliable, continuously updated digital solutions, which adhere to NHS governance standards, comply with personal data protection legislation and exceed the best practice benchmarks for usability, and clinical and technical excellence.
Imagineear Health is managed by Julia Laflin, who has been instrumental in accelerating Imagineear’s growing healthcare offer. She has led the development of several of the company’s most successful apps, including the highest Orcha-rated pregnancy app Mum & Baby, NHS Innovation Challenge Acorn award-winning RELAX Anaesthetics and My Transplant Tracker, developed in partnership with blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan. Julia is supported by a highly experienced and skilled team of designers and developers. The team works closely with clients and partners, using quick and iterative agile project management to optimise app design, creation and delivery, with a strong focus on repeated end-user testing, whether with patients, clinicians, or both.
