Imagineear is delighted to have been selected to be part of the London Design Awards 2020, organised by DrivenxDesign, with a chance of winning best project in the Digital Health category for its Mum & Baby app. One of ten international programmes, the London Design Awards programme provides marketplace recognition across an extensive range of categories and celebrates the creativity and courage of those who are leading the way.
The nomination will now be presented to the jury, and peer reviewed by members of the DrivenxDesign international community by a ratings process. The Judging Panel, comprised of industry experts who have an understanding of design from both an aesthetic and marketplace perspective, will announce the winners in October.
Mum & Baby, created by Imagineear’s Healthcare development team, gives women and their families NHS curated and clinically-evidenced guidance and information on pregnancy, birth and beyond. It offers a high level of personalisation to include their due date, appointments and personal care plans, and is available from the Apple and Google Play app stores.
The app has recently been amended to include up-to-the-minute, clinically-reliable advice for pregnant women and new mothers as soon as it is approved by Public Health England during the Coronavirus pandemic, and has been included in ORCHA’s Covid-19 Health App Library.
Now with a nationwide reach, the app has been extended to include local information and contacts specific to NHS Local Maternity Systems in England under licence, now serving more than 60,000 births annually.
